The rates below are estimates. A more accurate quote is given after we talk about what you need.  

CONSULTATIONS

Estimates are based on the information you give in the consultation. Consultations are $25, are over the phone or in person and last about an hour. If we decide to work together, the $25 is refunded at the completion of the site.

maintenance & updates

I teach my clients to maintain the site themselves, so there's no waiting for me and it saves money. The program I use is easy to learn and makes updating fast.  

original site

$25/ hour, which often is around $100/per page (*hosting and domain are additional)  and includes:
  • One website, designed using a template that I alter
  • Updates and maintenace because I teach you how to update the site yourself
  • Two hour design consultation + continued discussion throughout
  • Branding your business to communicate its essence to your viewers
  • Content layout & entry
  • Branded favicon
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Google Analytics account to track site traffic
  • Google Webmaster Tools site verification
  • 2-3 hour tutorial session in person or via Skype

*Hosting and domain:
  • Hosting each year is $100

ADDITIONAL COSTS

More complicated elements, like a store or a podcast, are an additional cost. Sometimes icons or stock-photos are purchased for between $3-$30 and up or may be free with an attribution link.

YOUR HOMEWORK

I design using the photos & materials you bring to me at the start of and throughout the process. Sites cost money and also time, so be sure to plan time to work on your site homework.

logo

Simple logo design is $400.
Logo design is not my forte, so if you are looking for a fancier logo to add to your branding, I can recommend a more skilled graphic designer. Here are logos I made.

electronic press kit

EPK account is $25/hour for labor + $11 per month for hosting with and includes:
  • Being part of a community through your account (great for bands, comedians touring the college circuit)
  • A business-focused webpage that shows your technical performance needs, photos, press quotes, videos, audio clips, bio, and calendar.

business cards

Business cards are $25/hour for design. Printing & shipping are additional and vary depending on current printing company prices.
